Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do (and don't do) with it. Short version: we only collect what we need to run Justice Client, and we don't sell your data — ever.
1. What We Collect
When you use Justice Client, we may collect:
- Account info: username, email, and a hashed password when you register.
- Profile data: avatar, bio, friends list, and anything else you add to your profile.
- Launcher data: client version, operating system, and basic crash logs to help us fix bugs.
- Chat & social content: messages, posts, and reports you send through the platform.
- Minecraft account info: your Microsoft/Mojang login is handled directly by Microsoft — we never see or store your Microsoft password.
- Payment info: if you buy premium or cosmetics, payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see your card number.
2. What We Don't Collect
- We don't scan your Minecraft worlds or files.
- We don't read your keystrokes or monitor other apps on your computer.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the info we collect to:
- Run your account, friends, chat, and social features.
- Deliver mods, updates, and cosmetics.
- Fix bugs, improve performance, and detect abuse.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and keep the platform safe.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
Our website uses basic cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use creepy tracking cookies from advertisers.
5. Who Can See Your Data
Your public profile (username, avatar, friends, posts) can be seen by other users. Private info like your email and login details are only seen by our staff when needed (for support, moderation, or security). We only share data with third parties when:
- It's required by law or a valid legal request.
- It's needed to process payments (our payment provider).
- It's needed to protect Justice Client, our users, or the public.
6. Data Security
We store passwords hashed, use HTTPS everywhere, and do our best to keep your data safe. That said, no service is 100% secure — use a strong password and don't reuse it from other sites.
7. Children
Justice Client is not intended for users under 13. If we find out a user is under 13, we'll delete the account. If you're a parent and think your child signed up, contact us and we'll take care of it.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- View and edit your account info at any time.
- Request a copy of the data we have about you.
- Delete your account, which removes your personal info from our active systems.
Some info may stay in backups or logs for a limited time for security and legal reasons.
9. Third-Party Services
We use a few trusted services to run Justice Client — like Microsoft authentication for Minecraft login, Discord for community features, and a payment processor for purchases. Each has their own privacy policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make big changes, we'll update this page and let you know in the launcher or on our Discord. Continuing to use Justice Client after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact
Privacy questions? Reach out through our Discord or the support channels in the launcher.
